16 KANTO GAKUIN NEWS No.43関東学院各校NEWS[University]Lectures by Mr. Yoshito Teraoka, a Visiting Associate ProfessorMr. Yoshito Teraoka, who started his tenure as a visiting associate professor this year, gave a series of lectures at the College of Engineering during the fall term. Mr. Teraoka, a music producer, and Mr. Hiroshi Yamada, a songwriter, were invited to give a total of four lectures under the theme, “Anybody Can Write Songs.” In the first lecture, students actually attempted writing a song based on the songwriter’s instruction. In the second lecture, they again attempted writing a song based on some examples. In the third, homework songs written by the students were presented. Their songs were accompanied by music composed by the two lecturers and sung by the students in the classroom. Through these lessons, the students recognized the power of words, the beauty of composing melodies, and the joy of writing a song.Kanto Gakuin University Student House 33-Banchi (Dormitory)“Kanto Gakuin University Student House 33-Banchi”, a new dormitory will open on the school property in Oppama in April 2012. The Student House 33-Banchi will have a large public bath, as well as private showers available for 24 hours. There will also be a multi-purpose room and a common use space on every floor. Students residing in the dormitory will be served two meals (breakfast and dinner) each day. Each room will be furnished with a bed, closet and other furniture, and each room will also have an air conditioner as well as other household appliances. Students can access the Internet via wireless LAN. Dormitory parents will also live in the dormitory to help support students living there. The university hopes to provide an environment where students can concentrate on studying, while enjoying a fulfilling student life and developing their personalities.学では、昨年より建設を進めておりました「関東学院大学スチューデント・ハウス33番地」(学生寮)が2012年4月より、運用する運びとなりました。 かねてより、オープンキャンパス、地方での入試相談会等で受験生及びご父母から学生寮の有無についての問い合わせが多く寄せられ、本学といたしましても、その必要性を強く認識しておりました。そうした要望に答えるとともに、全国入試の実施等により地方からの受験生の受け入れが増えること、また、本学の交換留学生の宿泊施設としても学生寮の建設が必要とのことから、金沢八景キャンパス近くの追浜校地に建設することが決定しました。 本学生寮の特徴としまして、手足を伸ばせる大きなお風呂と24時間使用できるプライベートシャワー、各階には自由に使える多目的ルームなど、充実した共用スペースをあげることができます。また、栄養バランスを考えた朝・夕の食事の提供。居室にはベツト、大型クローゼット、机・椅子などの家具とエアコンなどの生活備品を完備し、インターネットは大学内と同じ環境の無線LANを用意しています。さらに、寮長夫婦が常駐し宅配の受付や急病時の対応など暮らし全般をサポートします。以上のような体制で安心安全な生活環境を提供します。 本学生寮は、学生が勉学に励むことのできる環境を整え、互いに気持ちよく充実した共同生活を通じて、人格形成も成し遂げていくことを目的として設置されます。寮生の皆さんには、実り多い学生生活・寮生活を送ってほしいと考えております。関東学院大学学生寮スチューデント・ハウス33番地本所在地:横須賀市追浜本町2丁目33番地20交 通:京浜急行本線「追浜駅」下車徒歩10分金沢八景キャンパスより徒歩5分建 物:鉄筋コンクリート造 地上4階建部屋数:約183室(個室広さ 11.25m2(6帖))1階･2階 男子寮室83室3階･4階 女子寮室100室開 寮:2012年4月個室設備:�ベッド、エアコン、机、椅子、書棚、クローゼット、カーテン、物干し、テレビ端子、インターネット環境(無線LAN)共有設備:�大浴場、プライベートシャワー、食堂、洗面所、トイレ、ランドリールーム、多目的ルーム、メールボックス、自転車駐輪場 玄関はオートロック、防犯カメラを設置しています。また、寮長夫妻が常駐しており、不審者を入口でシャットアウト。さらに、各階フロア入口にも防犯カメラを設置しており、安心安全の生活を送ることが可能です。心配な食生活も栄養士考案メニューでサポート。 全国から集まった仲間と、充実した学生生活を送ることができます。完成予想図DATA
