20 KANTO GAKUIN NEWS No.40関東学院各校NEWS長児は毎年、葉山にある相洋閣に1泊します。宿には滑り台付きのプールがあり、目の前が海のステキなところです。 お泊り会のために、3つのグループ活動が4月より始まります。公園の清掃活動、老人ホーム訪問、畑のお世話、クッキングなど日々の生活の中にちりばめられています。メンバーとの話し合いでは、自分の意見を伝え、時にはゆずり、時には泣いて我を通すなど経験する中で、自分を知ることと相手を受け入れることを学びます。グループカラーのTシャツは色が同じでも、絞り染めのデザインにオリジナリティが光ります。 雨でも、地下鉄とJRと京急バスを乗り継いでいくため、雨が降るとレインコートを着て散歩に出かけたりもします。保護者の方の協力を得て電車に乗る経験も重ねます。 楽しい思い出だけに終わらないように、子ども一人ひとりの課題に沿って、少し悩む状況を提供していきます。困った時、悩んだ時は自分が頼りですが、助けを求める勇気も育てなくてはなりません。年長児のお泊り会野庭幼稚園主事 小髙 千恵年[Mutsuura Kindergarten]Children’s AtelierThe kindergarten started the “Children’s Atelier” as an extracurricular program, hoping that the children’s experience in this program will serve as a beneficial tool to enrich the regular activities in the kindergarten and favorably influence other children to foster their artistic skills. We have selected as the instructor for the atelier a person who is familiar with the children’s daily activities and understands our kindergarten’s values well.Currently on Mondays, 15 to 20 children enjoy expressing themselves at the atelier for one hour after regular kindergarten activities. Materials they use vary from paints to clay and paste. We also provide the parents with opportunities to see and share their children’s experience at the atelier.[Noba Kindergarten]A sleepover program for the fiver-year-old childrenWe have an annual one-night sleepover program for the five-year-old class. The program takes place at Soyokaku in Hayama, a location with beautiful views of the sea and a swimming pool.In preparation for this program, there are some group activities starting in April, including the cleaning of a park, a visit to an elderly nursing home, field work, and cooking. The children are also given an opportunity to ride a train as a part of these activities.This program aims not only to let children have an enjoyable experience but also to help them learn from difficult situations. When facing a difficulty or problem, they need to overcome it on their own but, at the same time, they also need to have the courage to ask for help. Trustworthy friends are a great support in such a situation.て『子どものアトリエ』を始める事にしました。単なる課外という捉えではなく、そこで経験した事が普段の保育の中にも活かされ、他の子どもたちにも影響し合ってより豊かな表現に繋がってほしいと考えました。また、アトリエの指導は子どもたちの生活を知っていて私たちが大切にしている事を十分理解してくださる方にしようと考え、大学の人間発達学科の照沼先生にお願いしました。現在、毎週月曜日の保育後1時間15名〜20名の子どもたちが『子どものアトリエ』で自分の表現活動を楽しんでいます。そこで出会う素材は、時には絵の具であったり土粘土であったり糊であったり…と様々。お迎えの時に、保護者の方に活動している時の過程やお子さんの表情をお伝えして子どもたちが楽しんでいた世界を分かち合うひとときを大切にしています。子どものアトリエ六浦幼稚園主任 鈴木 直江んせい〜、見て見て!」「わぁ、たくさんグルグル描けたねぇ」「うん!これ卵でね、かいじゅうが出てくるんだよ。それでね…」子どもが描いた一本の線から次々お話が生まれ、それはその子の表現になっていきます。私たちは、園生活の中で子どもたちが描いたり作ったりする造形活動を子どもたちの表現活動の一つと捉えています。出来上がった形だけではなく、活動の中で子どもたちが何を思い表しているのか(表したいのか)を大切にして子どもたちに関わっています。そして、子どもたちの表しを読み取る事、又それに共感して子どもの表しをより豊かなものにしていきたいと願って過ごしているのです。そこで、幼稚園は課外活動とし「せ信頼できる仲間がいることは大きな支えとなるからです。 ダイバーシティ(多様性)の中に私たちは生きており、聖書の中の「普遍的な愛」がお互いを結びます。幼い頃より一緒に育っていく意味がここにあります。
