KANTO GAKUIN NEWS No.40 19関東学院各校NEWS浦小学校では、二十年前から全校で海の公園に出かける新入生歓迎遠足を行っています。 毎年、ゴールデンウィークの前後に実施するので、潮干狩りが恒例の楽しみで、この日の夕食にはあさりの味噌汁という家庭も多いようです。 遠足の特徴は、六年生が新一年生とペアを組んで、マン・ツー・マンで新入生の面倒をみることです。六年生が、一年生の希望に合わせて行動し、終日面倒をみることは、学院の校訓「人になれ 奉仕せよ」の実践として、貴重な体験の一つです。ここでの関わりは、卒業後も互いに思い出や絆として残る豊かな交わりになります。 また、二年前から一年生と六年生だけでなく、全学年で構成される小グループを作り、グループごとに海の公園まで出かけるようになりました。その結果、縦割りで交わりを深める貴重な機会ともなっています。現地では、潮干狩りとともに、砂浜での砂の芸術展やビーチフラッグスなどグループごとの遊びが企画新入生歓迎遠足六浦小学校児童会担当 鵜崎 寿六親子の集い小学校教諭 市川 亜紀子月29日(土)に中学校高等学校のグレセット礼拝堂にて親子の集いが行われました。今回は、テレビ等でご活躍されているグルメレポーターの彦麻呂さんが『夢はかなう!!彦麻呂、宝石箱の中身!』のタイトルで講演してくださいました。 始めに、幼少期からの生い立ちをお話になりました。現在に至るまでの中で、先輩から「夢は心に持って進んで行くと、必ず夢は叶うからね。」と教えられたことをきっかけに、「自分の夢に向かって 一生懸命努力をしよう。」と思い続けて今があることを話されました。 グルメレポーターの経験からのお話では、「味覚は記憶だ。」ということを実感し、「お母さんが作ってくれたものを食べることでそれが人生の中の潤いになり、大人になってもう一度食べたいと思うことでつながりと絆が深まっていくのです。」5[Mutsuura Primary School]Welcome field trip for first grade studentsFor the last 20 years, Mutsuura Elementary School has held a school-wide field trip to Umi-no-Kouen (Seaside Park) to welcome first grade students. During the field trip, each sixth grader is paired with one first grader whom they are to accompany and help during the trip. This provides sixth grade students with a precious experience that is in line with the school motto “Be a man and serve the world.” The interaction they experience during the trip will remain as a good memory long after they leave the school and help them to build lasting friendships.A new activity program for the school trip was started two years ago. Now all students, including those from grades other than the sixth and the first, gather and are divided into small groups to participate in the trip. The program includes various activities such as clam digging at the beach, sand art exhibition, and beach flags. The trip is designed and carried out with the sincere wish that it will be a fruitful experience for all the students.と話されました。また、グルメレポーターとして、「おもしろい事を言うよりも、作ってくれた人のドラマや思いが、心に入るんだ。」と思い、「食べ物はお腹を満たすだけでなく、作ってくれた人の思いも食べた人の心に届くということを感じとれる人になっていこう。」と考えるようになったことも話されました。このことを通して、児童に「食べ物を通してお母さんに感謝し、作ってくれた人の心がわかるような食べ方をして欲しい。それは大きくなって思い出に残っているもの。」と、お話しくださいました。 最後に、彦麻呂さんから「大きくなったら何になりたいですか。」と質問がありました。多くの児童が手を挙げ、「何になりたいか人前で言えることは、いいことですね。」と褒めていただき、彦麻呂さんが児童席にマイクを持って聞きに行く場面もありました。 夢を持つことの大切さ、食事の大切さを改めて感じる講演となりました。されています。 本校は、自然の豊かな金沢区にあり、おおらかで家庭的な雰囲気をもつ学校です。そんなわたしたちにとって、歓迎遠足は学校を代表する行事の一つにもなっています。 遠足の主題聖句「互いに親切にし、あわれみの心で接し、神がキリストによってあなたがたをゆるしてくださったように、ゆるしあいなさい。」(エフェソ4:32)が、この遠足の体験を通して子どもたちの中で豊かな実を結ぶように、祈りつつ取り組んでいます。[Primary School]Parents and children gatheringOn Saturday, May 29, a parents and children gathering was held at Gressitt Chapel at Kanto Gakuin Junior & Senior High School. Hikomaro, a well-known “gourmet reporter,” was welcomed as the guest speaker for the day. He gave a speech under the title “Your dream will be fulfilled! Hikomaro shares what he has in his jewelry box!”. In his speech, he told the audience how he started to believe that “dreams come true as long as you hold on to them” and decided to “make every effort to fulfill the dream”. By focusing his mind on his goals, he was able to achieve his present day success. Based on his experience as a gourmet reporter, he said to the students, “Appreciate what your mother cooks for you and appreciate your mother. Whenever you eat something, please show gratitude to the person who has cooked the meal. You will never forget what you ate in your childhood.”In the end, Hikomaro asked “What do you wish to be when you grow up?” In response, many students raised their hands to tell him what their wishes were. Admiringly, Hikomaro said to them “It is good that you can express what you want to be when you grow up.” His speech made the audience aware again of the importance of having a dream and how precious each meal is.
